The committee will strengthen the position of gas in relation to competing technologies as well as its societal relevance, interacting strongly with the other Committees and Task Forces as an integrating committee that undertakes solution-oriented studies. The committee will focus on: Adaptation and customisation of efficient gas technologies to new markets, innovation in mobile and stationary applications of LNG and CNG, new technologies and strategies for reduction of emission of methane, NOx, and possibly other fugitive emissions across the gas value chain, efficiency demands on the energy use in specific sectors (e.g. buildings); Decarbonisation technologies in the gas value chain; And Digitalisation and the strategy for gas innovation.
