IGRC2014 is held under the auspices of International Gas Union (IGU). The conference is hosted by Danish Gas Technology Centre in the new top modern Tivoli Congress Center in the centre of Copenhagen.

IGRC2014 intends to facilitate a dialogue between technology and business leaders across all areas essential to the future gas system. Technology will be the key to the future business model for gas growth – at IGRC2014 we will map out the technology future together.

The IGRC2014 technical programme is developed by the IGU Committee for Research, Development and Innovation, IGU Programme Committee F.

IGU PGC F is chaired by Jack Lewnard, Chesapeake Utility, USA.
Vice Chairman is Gerald Linke, E.ON, Germany and Committee
Secretary is Rod Rinholm, Gas Technology Institute, USA.

The programme comprises 333 papers presented in oral-, workshop and poster sessions and covers gas utilisation, gas transmission and distribution, gas production as well as cross-cutting topics such as environment, safety, energy system analysis, communication, markets, supply, strategy and human resources.

Preliminary draft programme
The conference runs over 2.5 days from Wednesday, September 17 to Friday, September 19, 2014.

The programme consists of 4 parallell tracks each covering a well defined  part of the gas chain. On Wednesday and Thursday exclusive time slots have been dedicated to poster sessions.
