New members approved by IGU Council on 24 September 2008
During the Council meeting on 24 september 2008 , in Gyeongju,Republic of Korea, the IGU Council approved 4 new Charter members and 2 new Associate members.
The below new Charter members were approved.
- Libya, represented by the National Oil Corporation of Libya
- Macedonia, represented by Macedonia Gas Association
- Vietnam, represented by Vietnam Oil and Gas Company
In addition, Romgaz SA, Romania, has changed membership from Associate member to Charter member as the company is the only representative from Romania.
Furthermore, the following new Associate members were also approved:
- Bayerngas GmbH, Munich,Germany
- GasTerra, the Netherlands
IGU welcomes the new members and we are looking forward to the cooperation in various committees and work groups.
