Pdfs published: Gas Symposium COP16 Cancun, Mexico
The International Gas Union (IGU) and Worldwatch Institute (Worldwatch) organised on 5 December 2010 a joint Gas Symposium at the United Nations' Climate Change Conference in Cancun.
Please see details and pdfs here

The UN Climate Conferences are seen as important arenas for IGU to inform public servants and other delegates about the contributions of the gas industry towards a low-carbon economy and addressing gas issues in a climate perspective.
Based on the successful concept of the Gas Event at COP15, IGU started early to prepare for a similar event in collaboration with Worldwatch , an independent US-based international research organisation focused on energy, resource and environmental issues. Speakers included:
- Mr Kandeh Yumkella, Director General, United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO),
Chair of UN-Energy and Chair of the UN Secretary-General’s Advisory Group on Energy and Climate Change (AGECC)
- Mr Nobuo Tanaka, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA)
- Mr Jos Delbeke, Director-General, Climate Action, EU Commission
The event took place on 5 December 2010 in Hilton Cancun.
