Natural Gas an integral part of our sustainable energy future

The Global Energy Industry needs to balance

• Security of supply for energy in a growing market, particularly in developing countries, and
• Mitigating the effects of climate change arising from the intensive use of fossil fuels.

Given this outlook, and taking into account the advantages of natural gas over the other fossil fuels, the International Gas Union is working proactively with Governments, Regulators and the Gas Industry, promoting throughout the world  that natural gas should be an integral part of our sustainable energy future.
