Changing the Guard: Handover of Presidency

The handover of the IGU Presidency for the next Triennium took place on Friday 9 October 2009 in Buenos Aires.

On the last day of the 24th World Gas Conference in Buenos Aires, as part of the Closing Ceremony,  Mr Ernesto L. Anadón handed over the IGU Presidency to the new President, Datuk Abdul Rahim Hashim from Malaysia.

 Malaysia presented themselves as host for the forthcoming 25th World Gas Conference in Kuala Lumpur, 4-8 June 2012.
