Intergas Marketing rejoins IGU
News: Intergas Marketing rejoins IGU
as the old IGM is entering into the IGU family we wish to inform you that the next IGU Gas Marketing (IGM) session - the 99th one - will take place in Hamburg, Germany on 29-30 March 2007. Our host RWE and the IGM Chairman Marc Hall are currently finalising the programme and securing a good venue and accommodation, and we hope as many as possible will have the opportunity to attend the session. More details on the 99th IGM session will be available on the IGU web site shortly, but please mark your calendars already now.
All IGU members are welcome to join IGM and to contribute to the work within this special IGU committee.
The main agenda item of the session is: Marketing of Gas between Co-operation and Competition.
During the session the 2 IGM study groups (M1: "Natural Gas and Renewables" and M2: "How can marketing contribute to promote natural gas in new areas and new technologies") will present the outlines of the proposed work and the progress (however early) so far.
Another duty to perform is to elect a new Vice Chair and Secretary to work alongside Marc Hall and the Secretariat.
As IGM becomes (again) a full IGU member, the main part of the content of the IGM web site has been transferred to the IGU web site. You can find details and presentations from previous sessions, earlier reports and more information here: http://www.igu.org/committees/igm/. Please remember to login using your IGU access details as some of the content is labelled "Members only". If you find there is some information missing, please do not hesitate to contact the Secretariat (xlhk@dongenergy.dk). More details will be added as we progress.
