Overview
Overview of the screen elements used for adding contents.
On this page the term "current object" means the object currently shown to you. As you read this, the current object is probably a page called "Overview", which you probably choose from the navigation panel in the left column. The term "object" is described in the Introduction.
If you are logged in, and you have permission to add contents to the portal, then you will see this panel:
Description of the tabs:
- Contents
- Use this tab to show the contents of a folder. This tab is only present, if the current object is a folder.
- View
- Shows the current object using its standard view. Please note, if this is a folder, you might not see a listing of the contents of the folder. The webmaster might have chosen to show one the objects in the folder instead.

- Properties and Sharing
- These are used for advanced control of the current object, and will not be described in this document.
The bar below the tabs shows these functions:

- Display
- This function is only shown, if the current object is a folder. Use it to control, how the folder is presented in the standard view. It is possible to show the folders contents in various formats, or you can show a page from the folder instead. Using the last method you can have a kind of front page for the folder.

- Used for adding contents (objects) to the portal. You can add pages, folders, events, news items and others as described in "Content Types". If the current object is a folder, you will see "Add item". If it is not a folder, you will see "Add to folder", and the object you add, will be added to the same folder as the current object.
- State
- With this function you can change the visibility of the current object. You can choose between Private, Members Only or Published.
